The area of Rowrakruk was located on the planet Kashyyyk, the homeworld of the Wookiee species[1] in the Mid Rim's Mytaranor sector.[2] When a Wookiee Army formed during the Clone Wars to defend the city of Kachirho in the Wawaatt Archipelago from the Separatist Droid Army, volunteers from Rowrakruk were amongst those that joined to fight alongside the Grand Army of the Republic in the Battle of Kashyyyk[1] in 19 BBY.[3]

In the new Star Wars canon, Rowrakruk was mentioned in the third issue of De Agostini's Star Wars Bust Collection magazine series, which was published in 2021.[1] The region originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where the area was first mentioned as a city in a Databank entry on StarWars.com for the character Tarkov.[4]
