"Not exactly. Not yet. Take King Lee-Char…to a window."
―Tarkin, to Darth Vader[1]

The Royal Command Bunker was located on the planet Mon Cala, built for the King of Mon Cala.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] upon the request of Governor Wilhuff Tarkin to capture King Lee-Char so that the Galactic Empire's invasion of Mon Cala could be ended quicker, Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader traveled to the bunker to capture the king. The Sith Lord then disposed of the king's guards and secured Lee-Char. Tarkin then ordered Vader to take Lee-Char to a window so the king could view the incoming orbital bombardment of Mon Cala.[1]

Vader was then confronted by former Jedi Padawan Ferren Barr. The Sith Lord killed Barr in a lightsaber duel, and Lee-Char confirmed his surrender to Tarkin. Following Barr's demise, Vader and the king were picked up from the bunker by an Imperial shuttle. The bunker had grey walls, along with a holotable in the middle of the room and a large overhead window.[1]
