The Royal Hangar was the official starship hangar of the Queen Mother of the Hapes Consortium.
It was connected to the Queen Mother's Special Salon in the Fountain Palace on Hapes. When Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo arrived on Hapes in 40 ABY, they were allowed to land the Millennium Falcon there.
During the Battle of Kashyyyk, when Han and Leia returned to warn the Queen Mother about Jacen's atrocities, they were followed by Tahiri Veila, who attempted to arrest them as traitors. Leia and Tahiri dueled briefly until Tenel Ka arrived with her guards. Tahiri was arrested, and, in spite of her protests, her StealthX fighter was confiscated and she was shuttled off-world by the Hapans.
