The Rurgavea system was located within the Southern Core portion of[2] the Core Worlds.[1] The system was the origin point of the Rurgavean Sleight military tactic.[3][4]

Behind the scenesEdit

The Rurgavea system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed the system in grid square L-13.[2]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Rurgavean Sleight in relation to the Rurgavea system.
