The Sa Nalaor was a Munificent-class star frigate that served within the Separatist Alliance's naval forces during the Clone Wars[1] against the Galactic Republic.[5] Equipped with at least one ion drive thruster, the frigate was armed with two heavy turbolaser cannons[3] and measured to 825 meters in length, 426 meters in width and 243 meters in height. It also featured the Confederacy's emblem on its starboard hull. At some point during the war, the Sa Nalaor was located near a white celestial body alongside a Hardcell-class interstellar transport.[1]
Description[]
The Munificent-class star frigate Sa Nalaor was active in the Confederacy of Independent Systems Navy. Used for warship purposes,[1] the frigate reached 825 meters in length, 426 meters in width and 243 meters in height.[2] On a forward-facing platform situated along the dorsal hull was the vessel's command bridge, surrounded by various[1] high-performing sensor antennas designed to monitor fleet perimeters at light-day ranges. Equipped with seven[3] sublight-capable[1] ion drive thrusters at the stern that were physically shielded by an extended hull, the Sa Nalaor also came with numerous docking rings and superdense reactant tanks.[3]
The armament systems were formed from a single forward heavy turbolaser cannon, that was mounted to a prow elevation system and was slow maneuvering but deadly to large warships.[3] Launched directly from starfighter bays, the Sa Nalaor came stockpiled with a maximum of four squadrons of forty-eight vulture droid fighters for ship-to-ship battle. Anti-boarding actions and ground assaults, however, were carried out from the frigate's peak complement of 150,000 battle droids.[4]

The Sa Nalaor was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in "Mechanized Might," an article released by Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars: Armada miniatures game on their website on November 16, 2020.[6] The article served as a preview for the Separatist Alliance Fleet Starter, a supplement published by Fantasy Flight Games on December 4, 2020.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Sa Nalaor was introduced in Beyond the Rim, a 2013 adventure module published by Fantasy Flight Games for the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire roleplaying game.[7]
