"Here ya go... ...Sabé's private quarters."
―Ochi, to Dormé[1]

Sabé's private quarters were a room on the Star Dreadnought Executor used by the former Naboo Royal Handmaiden and Imperial Commander Sabé. When attempting to locate Sabé in 3 ABY, the Handmaiden Dormé entered Sabé's quarters onboard the Executor with the help of the Imperial assassin Ochi.

Description[]

Sabé's private quarters were located aboard the[1] Star Dreadnought[2] Executor used by the former[1] Naboo Royal Handmaiden Sabé[3] when she became a Commander in the Galactic Empire.[4] The quarters included a desk, two chairs, and a small table. Also inside was Sabé's datapad, which she kept reset so as to not leave critical information easily discoverable, black armor given to her by the Sith Lord Darth Vader, and a stand for her DLT-20A blaster rifle. The sleek, white room was secure, although the assassin and Imperial agent Ochi knew where it was located and was able to enter. Sabé had personal guards, two stormtroopers designated KA-336 and KV-222, that would report to the room for duty.[1]

History[]

"We we're notified that you'd returned. Personal guards KA-336 and KV-222 reporting for duty."
―Sabé's guards enter her quarters as Dormé and Ochi search for clues[1]

Around 3 ABY,[5] when the Naboo Handmaiden Dormé posed as Sabé and entered the Executor with Ochi's help, the assassin led Dormé to Sabé's private quarters in an attempt to find where her latest mission had taken her. Inside, Ochi attempted to access Sabé's datapad, but was unsuccessful. As Ochi and Dormé bickered about where Sabé's true allegiance lied, KA-336 and KV-222 arrived. Unaware that Dormé was not their commanding officer, the two troopers entered the quarters stood at attention when Dormé questioned them.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Sabé's private quarters appeared in Darth Vader 29,[1] the twenty-ninth issue of the 2020 canon comic book series Star Wars: Darth Vader. The issue was written by Greg Pak, illustrated by Luke Ross and Federico Blee, and published by Marvel Comics on November 30, 2022.[6] The quarters were first mentioned in a preview of the issue that was published on StarWars.com on November 23 of the same year.[7]
