The Sabat were a sentient species in the galaxy.[1] The Sabat had blue,[2] pink,[1] or tan[2] colored skin, large foreheads and flattened heads. Leevan Tenza, a member of Saw Gerrera's Partisans, was a Sabat.[1] Gelan Yees was a Sabat member of the Cloud-Riders.[3] At least one Sabat was a Jedi Initiate during the Republic Era.[2]

(backup link) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and Star Wars Galaxy Map, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats Sabata as one such homeworld with regard to the Sabat species.
