Sakai-wood was a type of[1] light-colored[2] wood.[1] In 5 ABY,[3] ex-Imperial loyalty officer Sinjir Rath Velus briskly awoke his colleague, the former New Republic sergeant Jom Barell, from his slumber. Upon opening his bleary eyes, Barell saw Velus standing before him and recalled the sakai-wood coloring of his skin.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Sakai-wood was mentioned in Aftermath: Empire's End, a 2017 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the third installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
