Salaka Kuchimba was a human male who served as a soldier in the army of the Resistance during their war with the First Order. He wore a green uniform jacket and tattered combat cap along with a brown scarf, brown pants and brown boots. He was equipped with an EL-16 blaster rifle and had fair skin, green eyes and brown hair.[1]

Salaka Kuchimba was portrayed by Griffin Hamill, son of Mark Hamill, in the film Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi,[2] which was released on December 15, 2017.[3] The character was not named in the film,[2] but received identification in Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary, a reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo[1] and released in conjunction with the film.[4]
