- "Well, everyone I've told is dead."
"That's ridiculous. Jezzi. Sammo. Hmm?"
"That's family."
"If we're making a list, we're making a list." - ―Maarva and Cassian Andor
Sammo was an individual that Maarva Andor, a resident of the planet Ferrix, considered to be family.[1] By 5 BBY,[2] Sammo was one of the few people that Maarva had told that the true homeworld of her adoptive son, Cassian Andor, was the planet Kenari.[1] In that year,[2] the Preox-Morlana corporation put out a warrant for a Kenari male on Ferrix, causing Maarva and Cassian to discuss who else knew about the latter's true origin. Maarva initially claimed everyone that she had told was dead, but when Cassian pointed out that Sammo and Maarva's friend Jezzi knew, his mother dismissed the concern.[1]
