The Sandtusker was an armored walker used by a platoon in the Republic Army's Thirty-eighth Infantry during the Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. The Sandtusker was named after the reptilian scavenger of the same name from the desert planet Tatooine, which was the homeworld of many of the platoon's members, and it carried the platoon safely through some of the war's fiercest battles.[1]
