Sardines were a type of fish[1] that could be cooked and eaten in dishes such as dried Naboo sardines and Naboo sardine fritters. The engineer Redy ordered Naboo sardine fritters with lava sauce alongside a triple shot with extra bubbles and a heap of blue milk powder while in the Dande Donjon bar on Xu'hu.[2] The Moncaladrome opera house on the planet Mon Cala served Mon Cala Sardine Fritters as canapés during intermissions and during a performance of the Faluvian cycle, the Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs was served one. He liked the fritter more than the show and ultimtely learned to cook them himself, including the recipe in his cookbook, The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook.[1]
