The Sargon system was located in the Gateworlds, an area of the Hapes Cluster in the Slice portion of the Inner Rim. It was connected by the hyperlane known as the Rynmar Trail to the Febrini system of the Gateworlds and to the Modus system in the Rifle Worlds.[1] The Sargon system was home to the creatures known as Sargonian behemoth ticks.[2][3]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Sargon system was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square O-9.[1]

Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Sargon system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Sargonian behemoth tick species.
