Sarkhai

Sarkhai was a Mid Rim planet covered with forests^[1] where Force-sensitives were uncommon.^[2] It belonged to the Galactic Republic.^[1] Senator Tobas Grell and his daughter Nadia were native to Sarkhai.^[2] Around the time of the Cold War, Sarkhai was ruled by the King Sethun and his wife, Queen Nyscha. The planet was one of the members of a secessionist militant group called the Rift Alliance. Although unlike most members, Sarkhai only joined out of curiosity and had no particular reason to secede from the Republic. Sarkai's forests grew so thick, that cutting roads between settlements took years due to the thorn traps and wild animals. Local cities invested heavily in protection with force fields that lit up everything at night.
