Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

In 22 BBY, when the Galactic Republic was chafing with a militant secessionist faction,[2] the Mid Rim world of Cadinth took the Republic's side. At that time, this pro-Separatist uprising took place in Cadinth's capital city, Saskapeg, culminating in the death of the planet's Jedi Watchman, Bodis-Ker Vitan. The Jedi's death prompted Cadinth's government, the Cadinth Oligarchy, to withdraw its support of the Republic, with Prime Oligarch Rankwin Fopow rescinding prior decrees and declaring that Cadinth was "firmly undecided" between the two groups.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The uprising was mentioned in an issue of the HoloNet News feed (2002), Volume 531, Issue 55, that was published in-universe on the ninth day of the third month in 22 BBY. The article that references it, entitled "Cadinth Loyalty Uncertain After Jedi Death,"[1] was written by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens.[3]
