The Satrapy of Myrra was the planetary council of Akiva and composed of several Satraps including Isstra Dirus, who ruled the capital city of Myrra shortly after the Battle of Endor. The Satrapy of Myrra was based in the Satrap's Palace in that city. Under the reign of the Galactic Empire, the satraps helped enforce the Empire's laws and policies. Following the Rebellion on Akiva, the satraps realized the anger of the people of Myrra and transferred their allegiance to the New Republic, the galactic government created by the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
