The scar of remembrance was a vertical line of makeup that divided the lower lip. The head rulers of Naboo wore this "scar" as a symbol of remembrance for the less fortunate days before the Great Time of Peace which had been brought about by King Jafan.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
A mention of the scar of remembrance was cut from the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[5] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[6] In a cut quest, Queen Kylantha lost the ceremonial makeup used for creating the scar of remembrance and requested the player to retrieve it.[5]
