The Scarab Mark VI assassin droid was an assassin droid designed to look like a small insect. It was one of the eighteen variants that comprised Sienar Intelligence Systems' scarab droid line. They were designed to kill through stealth, not brute force.[1]
It had enough capacity for 2 uses. The droid had magnetic feet which allowed it to climb metallic surfaces and advanced sensors that would allow it to track a specific target if it was supplied with a sample of biological fluid.
Scarab Mark VI droids were used in the assassination attempt on Luke Skywalker during his stay on New Alderaan.[1]
