  3. The Star Wars Book establishes that events of the novel Bloodline occur 28 years after those of the film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas dates to the year 0 ABY; therefore, Bloodline takes place in 28 ABY. In Bloodline, Greer Sonnel states that she received her bloodburn diagnosis three years prior, and the short story "Scorched" is set when Sonnel is symptomatic but not yet diagnosed; this places "Scorched" in 25 ABY.
