The Search-Scan 4 was a multicapable security scanner manufactured by BlasTech Industries. It was used for various detection needs by the Empire and local governments. The size of the scanner was that of a large chest and it was very efficient, being able to penetrate even shields. The scanner is often transported on a cart or repulsor sled, and contains numerous probes and receptors attached to the unit by insulated cabling.
