In 9 BBY,[2] the Galactic Empire sent a group of three Inquisitors to the desert planet Tatooine to search for the Jedi Nari. Coming to a saloon in the process, the Inquisitors were able to uncover the Jedi, who ended up escaping them to the Dune Sea, where he encountered exiled Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, then known as "Ben," who instructed him to live a normal life and relinquish his lightsaber. Shortly afterwards, Nari was once more located by the Inquisitors, who killed him and hung his deceased body in a village for the residents to look upon.[1]
