During the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire, a conflict broke out over the mystical Fount of Rajivari on the Deep Core world of Tython. A prelude to the larger Flesh Raider uprising, the conflict began when the Twi'lek pilgrim Nalen Raloch was seduced to the dark side by the teachings of Rajivari, one of the first Jedi to fall to the dark side. Angry that the Jedi Order refused to aid the people of Kalikori village, Raloch attempted to destroy the ancient machine known as the Forge before he was stopped by the Padawan of Jedi Master Yuon Par, who had been searching for the Fount as well.
