Seaweed was a vegetable native to Leritor. The Sauvax were known to eat them.
Raxan seaweed was a particular species of seaweed native to the Tion Cluster.
Seaweed was also found on the Rebel Alliance safe world Sanctuary where it, along with fish, formed the staple diet of the inhabitants. Several varieties of the seaweed could be processed into cloth, which was used for uniforms that some soldiers claimed had a permanent fish smell.[1]
