The Secession Worlds was a propagandistic name given by the Galactic Empire to the few systems that declared allegiance to the Alliance to Restore the Republic in 2 BBY, after Mon Mothma's Declaration of Rebellion. The Imperial Starfleet quickly crushed them, along with the disaster of Operation Domino, convinced the Rebellion to remain underground for the rest of its history.[1]
