Warning: This infobox is missing the following parameters: unit2, unit1 The Second Battle of Champala, also known as the Battle of Champala, was a battle during the Imperial Skirmishes of 17 ABY that saw Admiral Gial Ackbar, at the helm of the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Guardian, lead the New Republic's Third, Fourth, and Fifth Fleets to retake the planet Champala from the Imperial Remnant.
Behind the scenes
The New Essential Chronology first introduced the battle between Ackbar and Pellaeon as the Battle of Champala; however, The Essential Atlas renamed the battle as the Second Battle, explaining that Pellaeon had initially captured Champala before clashing with Ackbar at the Second Battle.
