Secondary command was a section of Chiss Defense Force warships which had similar functionality to the bridge. The secondary command was generally more compact and more central within the starship than the bridge, rendering it more secure in event of large-scale destruction or system failure elsewhere on the ship. Much like the bridge, it housed crucial navigation and astrogation computers, and served as a platform from which Chiss officers could convey orders.[1]
