A Senate apartment complex located in Coruscant's Federal District[1] was the site of Padmé's Apartment, a suite occupied by Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo during her tenure in the Galactic Senate.[2] The grand apartment block[4] was a high-security complex standing in an upscale region near the Galactic Senate Building, one of many buildings occupied by diplomatic staff from the millions of star systems in the Senate. The complex had a parking bay on a balcony several floors below Padmé's suite, where Senator Simon Greyshade kept his XJ-6 airspeeder.[1] When Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi broke one of the windows in Amidala's apartment to pursue those behind the plot to assassinate Senator Amidala, droids Buffy and Mick were dispatched to repair and clean up the damage.[3]
