Senior clone commander, also known simply as senior commander, was the second highest military rank that a clone trooper commander could hold within the Grand Army of the Republic. Distinguished by their yellow armor flashes towards the beginning of the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, senior clone commanders were placed in charge of legions, also called brigades, alongside a Jedi General.[1]
In the Grand Army of the Republic's Order of Battle, senior clone commanders were subordinate to clone marshal commanders, while clone regimental commander were subordinate to senior commanders.[1] Notable senior clone commanders included Senior Commander Gree of the 41st Elite Legion[2] and Senior Commander A'den of the 7th Legion.[3]
