Sennari was a toxin that was poisonous to members of the Trandoshan species. In 7956 C.R.C., the Trandoshan hitman Nack Movers, who was supposedly trained by the Malkite poisoners, was killed by his girlfiend Ione Marcy and his bodyguard Cassilyda Cryar, who administered sennari to him via a drink in his residence on the planet Coruscant.[1]
His Trandoshan physiology reacted with the toxin, causing him to convulse violently and knock over various items of furniture, before collapsing in a heap where he died. The Coruscant Security Force crime scene analysis droid Russo-ISC detected 11.3 of sennari extract in Movers's blood during their investigation into the murder, which Inspector Tanivos Divo noted down in a file he compiled on the case.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the new Star Wars canon, sennari was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] The toxin originally appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Tatooine Manhunt, a 1988 adventure book released by West End Games for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2]
