Serv-O-Droid, Inc. was a droid manufacturer that produced the DUM-series pit droid and the TT-8L/Y7 gatekeeper droid.[1] During the High Republic Era, the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts, an organization dedicated to studying the myriad of new species in the galaxy, instructed Serv-O-Droid, Inc. to build Safari droids for assignments in dangerous environments. These droids were programmed to autonomously document and interact with wild creatures and report back to the Society.[5]
