- "Jerec talks like a Hutt ganglord, but he wouldn't dare harm one of us. Aren't we his prized Dark Jedi?"
"Face it, Boc for all our power we are his tools. He'd you throw you away like a worn-out hydrospanner." - ―Boc arguing with Yun
The Seven Dark Jedi referred to Jerec and his six Dark Jedi companions, who were intent on locating the Valley of the Jedi and exploiting it for their own dark purposes. All except Yun were killed by Kyle Katarn, who spared Yun's life after having defeated him in a lightsaber duel in the administrative tower of Barons Hed. Yun, however, would die a short time later by the hand of Sariss after saving Katarn's life.
The Seven[]
- "…in his quest for the Valley of the Jedi, Jerec assembled an unsavory gang of Dark Jedi loyal to his cause, or at least as greedy as he was for the fabled powers of the Valley."
- ―Journal of Qu Rahn
Jerec[]

Jerec
- "My name is Jerec. I am a servant of His Imperial Majesty, the Emperor."
- ―Jerec
Jerec, former Jedi Master, Inquisitor, and ruthless leader of the Seven Dark Jedi, was extremely powerful in the Force and posed one of the biggest threats to the galaxy since the death of Palpatine.
Jerec undertook to study the dark side in all its forms, reading from the Dark Side Compendium written by Darth Sidious himself. It was there that he gained the idea of forming a band of seven Dark Jedi melded to one will, a concept which would remain with him throughout his life.[5]
Sariss[]

Sariss
- "Out of all the Dark Jedi I have met, Sariss is the one I can say… I fear. Powerful, strong in both the physical and mental arenas of the Force, she is a master, a perfectionist, quiet and reserved. This makes her a very dangerous foe."
- ―Qu Rahn as a Force ghost, to Kyle Katarn
Sariss, daughter of Lord Cronal and second-in-command to Jerec, she considered herself Jerec's primary apprentice, was a coldblooded killer and dangerous warrior who mastered most aspects of lightsaber combat.
Boc Aseca[]

- "I can't abide this creature named Boc. He is one of the few that actually uses two lightsabers in battle. He is a crude individual that lacks both tact and teeth. Only a Dark Jedi can he be."
- ―Qu Rahn as a Force ghost, to Kyle Katarn
Boc Aseca the Crude, personification of insanity and master of his own bizarre version of Jar'Kai dual blade lightsaber combat, was truly ruthless and enjoyed inflicting pain and suffering onto others.
Maw[]

- "To the one called Maw: a bitter individual that loathes all and holds loyalty to few. A strong and formidable foe. For every cord of muscle, there is hatred. It is this hate that keeps his aging body strong."
- ―Qu Rahn as a Force ghost, to Kyle Katarn
Maw, a former Jedi Shadow turned into a dark side killing machine by Jerec, was embodied pure anger, rage, and hatred, and developed his own version of the dangerous type of Trispzest lightsaber combat.
The "Twins"[]

Sithspawn, Picaroon C. Boodle (left) and Gorc (right)
- "It is a mystery why one would call Gorc and Pic twins. Even though one is a miniature version of the other, they look nothing alike. They also don't battle alike. Pic is the energy and Gorc, the counter. They are the clashing balance of opposites: one, the voice; the other, the body. This combination is deadly."
- ―Qu Rahn as a Force ghost, to Kyle Katarn
Picaroon C. Boodle and Gorc were known as the Brothers of the Sith. Boodle's wits and tactical sense combined with Gorc's brutal strength made the two nearly invincible.
Yun[]

- "Yun: a young and willing Dark Jedi, the newest addition to the cause. Brash and eager, he is ready to prove himself to his master at any cost. These elements make him a dangerous and unpredictable foe."
- ―Qu Rahn as a Force ghost, to Kyle Katarn
Yun was the youngest and least experienced of the Seven Dark Jedi. Eager to prove his worth to Sariss, whom he considered his mentor, Yun was a deadly foe in combat.
Behind the scenes[]
The Seven Dark Jedi, like Darth Krayt[6] and Exar Kun,[7] are some of the relatively few dark side characters in the Star Wars universe who do not limit themselves to red lightsabers. Though Jerec and Maw use red sabers, they are the exceptions: Yun wields a yellow saber (which Katarn took for his own when his first lightsaber was destroyed and Yun died), Gorc and Pic wield orange ones, Boc wields purple ones, and Sariss wields a blue one.
