Shall Mar was a Je'daii Master serving the Je'daii Order on Tython circa 28,915 BBY. He was known for having written the A Life in Balance, a book destined to be read by generations of Je'daii that would succeed him. The text was written between 28,930 and 28,918 BBY. In his text, Mar encouraged Je'daii to rely on their own innate talents and skills rather than calling on the Force for all their needs. While it could sustain a Je'daii, Mar postulated, it was but one tool in their arsenal. Additionally, in regard to Tython and the path of a Je'daii, Mar warned that they most know their limits and understand that not all hidden spaces should be sought out. The copy of "A Life in Balance" owned by Lanoree Brock's father was produced with great care.[1]
