Shatterpoint was a Force ability that could be used to sense the significance of an event[1] and to find a weak point.[2] It also referred to key moments where actions could change events. Jedi Master Mace Windu had the ability to detect shatterpoints.[3] While speaking with Anakin Skywalker, Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine claimed that Windu had a lack of empathy and suggested that may be his shatterpoint.[2] Maul was involved with a shatterpoint on Malachor during the Imperial Era.[4] When the shuttle Tydirium landed on the Sanctuary Moon, Darth Sidious sensed someone on board that was a shatterpoint and would have a great role in the course of fate.[1]
