Shea was a female Cerean who was the bond-wife of Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi and was known to have bore him at least one child. Although most Jedi were not allowed to marry, Ki was an exception because of the extremely low male birthrate on Cerea. In fact, the birth rate was so low he was allowed to keep the Cerean custom of polygamy. Shea was killed at the Battle of Cerea during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
