Shelagh Fraser (1920 – 2000)[1] was a British actress[3] who was reportedly born either in Ireland[2] or in Surrey, England.[1] She played Luke Skywalker's aunt, Beru Whitesun Lars, in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[4] For the role, she altered her accent.[2] Archive audio of her voice was used in Star Wars Rebels.
