"Shiraya's word! It is you!"
Lord Junn, greeting Leia Organa[src]

Shiraya was a figure in Naboo culture. As such, the phrase "Shiraya's word" was used in moments of pleasant surprise.[2] In statuary, she was depicted as a winged, female humanoid brandishing a crescent moon-shaped symbol. The Queens of Naboo sometimes wore Shiraya fan headdresses in her honor.[1]
