An activated shock bolt
A shock bolt was a type of munition designed to cause incapacitation through electrocution. The projectile could be fired from a DLT-19 heavy blaster rifle. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the bounty hunter Dengar used a shock bolt to incapacitate Chewbacca. However, C-3PO managed to make contact with the bolt and short it out, freeing Chewbacca.[1]
