Shungbeek were a sentient species that pupated at some point in their lifetime. They breathed an argon-rich atmosphere, and had to wear an enclosed perspex dome to survive in other conditions. Kid Malmash was a young Shungbeek who worked as a pilot, transporting refugees to safe destinations.[1]
