Shuror was a town located on the Outer Rim world of Mandalore. Prior to the galaxy-spanning conflict known as the Clone Wars, the Mandalorian soldier Kal Skirata and his wife, Ilippi Skirata, shared a small townhouse in Shuror early in their marriage. Years later in 19 BBY, long after their marriage had come to an end, Kal Skirata found himself reminiscing on his time in Shuror with Ilippi while cutting wood at his new home of Kyrimorut.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The town of Shuror was first introduced to Star Wars canon in the 2009 novel, Imperial Commando: 501st, the fifth entry into the Republic and Imperial Commando novel series by author Karen Traviss.
