The Shwuy Exchange was a hyperspace route that went between[2] the astronomical objects Uviuy Exen and Vakkar in the Colonies region. From Uviuy Exen, which lay on the Hydian Way[5] super-hyperroute,[6] the route went to the celestial body Mefti and then the Thrinittik system,[7] where the Second[8] and Fifth Moon of Thrinittik were located.[9] From there the route passed through[3] the planet[10] Caraad[3] before it reached Palanhi,[7] which acted as a junction onto the Namadii Corridor,[4] before making it to Vakkar. The route passed through Standard Galactic Grid squares K-9, K-8, L-8, and L-9.[5]
Behind the scenes[]
The Schwuy Exchange was first depicted in the galactic map in Fantasy Flight Games' 2016 canon roleplaying supplement Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game.[5] It was then identified in the StarWars.com article Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Rogue One?, published on January 31 2017.[2]

- ↑ 1.0 1.1 1.2 Star Wars Galaxy Map places Mefti and the Thrinittik system on a hyperspace route which Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game shows to go from Uviuy Exen to Palanhi and then Vakkar in the Colonies. Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Rogue One? identifies that route as the Schwuy Exchange.

Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
