The Shyrack cave resided on the desolate planet of Korriban. Large groups of shyracks lived in this cave. The cave consisted of three separate tunnels and an abyss which was spanned by a small bridge.

In 3993 BBY, while carrying out the Great Hunt, Duron Qel-Droma died in the cave, failing to cleanse it of terentateks.[3]
In 3956 BBY, Thalia May and two other renegade Sith students hid from Uthar Wynn in the cave, but a terentatek trapped them there. Revan slew the beast on the bridge so that the three students could escape. He also found the body of Duron Qel-Droma.[1]
The Tomb of Ludo Kressh, which Meetra Surik explored during her search for Jedi Master Lonna Vash in 3951 BBY, was located in the cave.[2]
