Sien was the Mine Foreman of the Peragus Mining Facility. Sien overheard Coorta plotting with the HK-50 (disguised as the Maintenance Officer) to turn over the Jedi Exile to the Exchange. He considered the Maintenance Officer more level-headed and attempted to talk him out of the plot, but the Officer didn't know what he was talking about. He was recording a message on his log entitled "Time to take action!" when Coorta found out what he heard, murdered Sien, had a small talk with the Dock Officer and an unknown second accomplice, and then shut off Sien's log and flushed it down the refresher. This log was one of the clues the Exile would use to find out what had happened at the mining facility.
