Silka beads were a type of bead found in the galaxy. Ahsoka Tano, a Padawan to Anakin Skywalker, used these to create her Padawan braid as Togruta, her species, had no hair.
Behind the scenes
Silka beads were first identified as such in the Decoded version of "Shadow of Malevolence". They, however, first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars novel as Tano's braid.
