Silunes was one of the best-known colonies of the Gran species from the Expansion Region planet Kinyen. The colony had well-regarded vineyards. Although the colonies initially granted prestige and wealth to Kinyen, a war with the Dug species on the colony world of Malastare and widespread violence in the colonies in general ultimately led the Gran to shun them.[1]
