"The Aquaris Freeholders? Chewie won't stop dropping hints about linking back with this outfit even though they once hijacked our spice cargo. I'm starting to think that Silver Fyre must have cooed in his ear about his big blue eyes."
―Han Solo, in the Smuggler's Guide[1]

Silver Fyre was an individual affiliated with the Aquaris Freeholders who worked with the smugglers Chewbacca and Han Solo on a job delivering spice. During the job, the Aquaris Freeholders hijacked their spice cargo, which earned them Solo's ire. When Solo was planning a new job to pay off a debt he owed Jabba the Hutt, Chewbacca suggested Silver Fyre and the Aquaris Freeholders as possible clients, which Solo dismissed. Solo recorded the information about Silver Fyre in the Smuggler's Guide, positing that Silver Fyre had won Chewbacca's endorsement through flattery, by complimenting his blue eyes.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Silver Fyre was first canonically mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Smuggler's Guide, written by Daniel Wallace.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Silver Fyre first appeared in "Traitor's Gambit", a comic strip story arc written by Archie Goodwin, illustrated by Al Williamson and released in 1982.[2]
