For other uses, see Simoom (disambiguation).

The Simoom system was a star system located in the Senex sector of the galaxy's Mid Rim.[1] It was connected to the Hestria system by a hyperlane[2] and contained[3] the planet Simoom. The latter was the homeworld of the creatures known as[2] Simoomian sensory hounds,[2][4] which were exported by many noble estates of the Senex and Juvex sectors.[2]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The Simoom system was established in The Essential Atlas, a reference book written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace[2] and released on August 18, 2009,[5] which placed the system in grid square L-18.[2]
