The sink-crab was a crustacean native to Bestine IV. It used bladders that filled with air to propel itself. While living on Bestine IV, future Rebel pilot Jek Tono Porkins hunted these creatures in his T-16 skyhopper.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
In the first edition of Galaxy Guide 1: A New Hope, they were referred to as "flink-crabs" in Porkins' biography. It was changed to "sink-crabs" for the second edition.
