Sinkar was a planet in the Lawreys system in the Fakir sector. It was a cold and inhospitable world with heavy gravity, and the oxygen supply was frozen on the surface. Extremely hostile to life, it was nonetheless the homeworld of the Sinkar. The Sinkar were a species of helium-based slugs that lived on solar energy and impurities in the planet's oxygen blanket. The Galactic Empire established a garrison on Sinkar during the Galactic Civil War.[2]
