Sith Shadows

The Sith Shadows were a group of thugs rather than actual Sith who were known to attack Force-sensitives during the time of the Galactic Civil War.

They were generally seen on the planet Dathomir, near the village of Aurilia, though were reported to have been seen on other planets also. Though the Sith Shadows were known to have many species in their organization, a Wookiee was never known to have been seen. The Dark Jedi Mellichae led the Shadows until imprisoned by the citizens of Aurillia.

It is possible that the Sith Shadows were engaged in regular thefts in the village of Aurilia because they were often found to be carrying valuable resources only used there. Those resources were often returned by spacers and used for much-needed repairs.

Behind the scenesEdit

Sith Shadows appeared as non-player characters in the video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online-role playing game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.

Although never stated, the cancelled video game Star Wars: Episode VII Shadows of the Sith heavily implied with its title a possible appearance of the Sith Shadows as antagonists, along Darth Caedus, who was planned to be the game's main antagonist.
