"It is said that millennia ago, the Chiss adventured into Lesser Space, taking part in wars between two hostile factions over vast and ever-shifting regions."

The Sith Wars were a series of conflicts fought for control of the galaxy[10] between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. The Chiss Ascendancy also participated in the conflicts, and encountered a number of aliens before retreating to their borders.[1] Cervil the Uncanny, a Jedi who fought in the conflict, left behind testimonies about members of the Jedi Order using lightwhips in order to defend against Forbidden Forms used by the Sith.[11] The Forbidden District located on the planet Exegol housed derelict shipyard forges that dated back to the Sith Wars.[10]
